Meet Bridget

Hi I'm Bridget. I'm an Avoyelles native who is a caregiver at heart. My love of people is strong as I've been a registered nurse for over 27 years and an animal lover and caregiver my whole life. I am a mother of 2. My son is in heaven and my daughter, Chloe, is such a big help with the rescue as well.

I'm married to my husband Joby. I currently have six dogs, two cats, two aquariums, and twenty chickens. Linda and I started the rescue in hopes to save the unwanted, neglected, mistreated and unwanted animals of this parish...to become a voice for them and spread awareness for animal welfare needs.
