We're on a mission

Our mission at Atchafalaya River Rescue is to provide a temporary loving, safe environment to care for abandoned and unwanted animals. Our ultimate goal is to find them loving forever homes whether through adoption or transport to a larger rescue organizations. We also strive to provide education to the community about the importance of vet care, heartworm and flea prevention, and spaying/neutering animals.
